A dedicated center for Yoga and Meditation on the top floor the Round shaped house, which is very well ventilated with all sides open to the sky and refreshing view to the Agasthya Hills. Regular Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation classes under the guidance of the yoga instructor of this wellness centre will elevate the seekers to the new heights of spirituality, besides restoring the physical and psychological imbalances.
Adjacent to the reception area a well lit space that is open all day and has a fine collection of books. You are welcome to browse through and borrow any of the books. You could read in the library area or even take it to your room to read during your stay with us. However may we request you to please return the books to the library before you leave so that our next guests could read them too.
There are many beaches nearby- Lighthouse Beach, Hawa beach, Samudra Beach, Chowara & Azhimalathara Beach, Poovar Beach and Backwaters, Shankhumugham Beach, Varkala Beach. Since our retreat is located 3.5 km away from the main Kovalam beach, we will provide free drop and pickup once a day to all the nearby beaches within 10kms.
Amara has a restaurant Round shaped house which is very well ventilated with all sides open to the sky and refreshing view to the Agasthya Hills.
Wifi is available across the Amara's public areas as well as in the rooms.

We organize cultural performances by professional artists and groups of performing art forms like mohiniyattam, kathakali etc and classical music are arranged in the evenings giving a glimpse of the cultural richness and variety of Kerala.
Special daytime - sightseeing and shopping trips can also be organized on request at extra payment. The nearby attractions include the Padmanabhapuram Palace - the ancient palace of the Travancore Kings, Kanyakumari (Cape Comorin) - the tip of the Indian Peninsula, Country boat cruises along the Poovar backwaters, Sri chitra art gallery and Napier museum. One can also go on a shopping spree for antiques, curios and handicrafts or garments and gold jewellery in city shops in Trivandrum.
